  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient record-keeping.
  • Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions focused on advancing trauma-informed care practices.
  • Stay informed of the latest research developments and best practices in trauma therapy to continually elevate patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The individuals you will assist at Chat and Change Counseling are primarily those impacted by trauma, including survivors of abuse, violence, and other distressing life experiences. Your expertise will significantly influence their healing journeys, addressing complex mental health conditions that demand sensitivity, a deep understanding of trauma, and courage.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
  • A strong theoretical framework in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, demonstrating a working knowledge of trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.
  • Proven ability to connect with clients through compassionate, non-judgmental communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience creating a calming and supportive therapeutic atmosphere, particularly in high-stress situations.
