Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to individuals facing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, both in virtual settings and through community outreach.
• Participate actively as a member of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to shared goals through collaborative problem-solving approaches.
• Engage respectfully with a diverse client base, acknowledging and valuing unique cultural perspectives and life experiences.
• Adhere to organizational protocols and financial structures to optimize service delivery within community health frameworks.
• Uphold ethical standards and practices aligned with the professional code of conduct while managing sensitive client interactions.
• Conduct brief, evidence-based assessments and screenings, ensuring clients receive thorough and appropriate evaluations.
• Develop and implement integrated care plans in collaboration with clients and their families, facilitating continuity of care through effective communication.
• Monitor client progress through regular meetings and therapy sessions, ensuring services are tailored to their evolving needs.
• Assist in crisis intervention strategies, providing necessary support when acute situations arise.
• Maintain rigor in documentation and reporting, ensuring timely completion of required records and adherence to clinical guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives and team meetings to foster agency service delivery advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will primarily include individuals from marginalized backgrounds who may not have adequate access to mental health resources. This role emphasizes understanding complex social determinants of health that impact our clients' well-being, strengthening your skills in culturally competent care while addressing various mental health challenges.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) is essential for this role.
• Current LCSW licensure in the state of Texas is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for a diverse range of mental health conditions.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective clinical documentation and collaborative work.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities and caseloads efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• Experience working with culturally diverse populations and knowledge of local community resources.
