Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct mental health services to clients experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, both through virtual consultations and remote assessments.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to align with organizational goals, demonstrating a commitment to a team-oriented approach.
  • Respectfully engage individuals from diverse backgrounds, ensuring cultural sensitivity across all interactions.
  • Manage a caseload of clients, conducting regular assessments and providing individual, group, and family therapy aimed at improving mental health outcomes.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening methods to identify client needs and develop comprehensive, customized care plans.
  • Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises.
  • Ensure all clinical documentation, assessments, and reports are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner, maintaining the highest professional standards.
  • Participate in committees dedicated to enhancing service delivery and operational efficiency, contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Be available for on-call duties as needed, ensuring continued support for clients outside of standard business hours.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Oak Leaf Behavioral Health, you will be working with a diverse patient population including individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds who may face barriers to accessing mental health care. Your expertise will be essential in providing effective treatment and support to clients grappling with issues related to mental health, trauma, and life transitions, particularly in an under-served environment.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or an equivalent field is required.
  • Valid LCSW licensure in the state of Texas is mandatory.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for successful client interactions and documentation.

Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred, involving direct work with clients.

Compensation and Benefits
