Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students to identify mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based interventions aimed at improving student well-being, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records while ensuring compliance with all relevant ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and a dedicated treatment team to deliver comprehensive care that addresses the multifaceted needs of each student.
• Provide education to students and families about mental health issues, empowering them with the knowledge and resources needed for positive change.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Our clientele includes students experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and family dynamics affecting their academic performance. You will play a crucial role in their emotional and psychological development, enhancing their ability to engage successfully within the educational environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, ideally within a school or educational setting.
• Proficiency in various treatment modalities, particularly solutions-based psychotherapeutic techniques.
