Job description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting/Finance Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and manage the month-end and year-end close processes. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely financial records, supervising accounting staff, and maintaining strong accounting processes and controls.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting leader who combines strong technical skills with people leadership and process discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Supervise and develop accounting staff across general ledger, AP, AR, and payroll functions.
  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Ensure transactions are recorded accurately in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Maintain accounting procedures, documentation, and internal controls.
  • Prepare internal financial reports and variance analysis for management.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.
  • Partner closely with the CFO on accounting issues and operational priorities.

Oversee day to day cash flow and working capital management, assist CFO with budget and forecasting.

Qualifications — Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance or equivalent work experience.
  • 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong working knowledg of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
  • Experience with ERP systems, QuickBooks, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications — Preferred:

  • CPA or CPA-eligible.
  • Public accounting or audit background.
  • Experience in a fast-paced or growing organization.
  • Exposure to process improvements or system implementations.

  • Base salary: commensurate with experience. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
