Regional Human Resource Manager
Reports to: SVP of People & Talent
Department: Human Resources
Location: Milwaukee (Onsite with multi-site support)
Type: Full Time
Position Summary
The Regional Human Resource Manager leads the execution and delivery of HR operations across Milwaukee, WI and Morton Grove, IL sites, while also supporting a remote workforce. This role ensures consistent, efficient, and compliant HR processes across all locations and employee populations, including onsite and remote teams.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, leading HR Partners, and coaching and guiding site and functional leaders. The role also partners with remote leaders and employees to ensure alignment, consistency, and engagement across distributed teams. It drives standardized execution of HR programs, strengthens data integrity, and ensures alignment with business objectives through operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead HR strategy and execution across assigned region
  • Partner with regional leadership to align people strategies with business goals
  • Drive consistency across sites while allowing for local compliance and needs
  • Design, implement, and manage HR programs including staffing, compensation, benefits, and performance management
  • Ensure programs are scalable, effective, and aligned with company policies
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR practices across the regionActively lead and engage in full cycle recruiting and workforce planning across the region, while providing oversight and direction for overall talent strategyEnsure effective onboarding and integration of new hires,ย Support talent development, retention, and succession planning efforts
  • Lead employee relations activities, including investigations and complex employee matters
  • Support leaders in managing performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness
  • Reinforce company culture and expectations across all sites
  • Actively execute benefit programs, bringing strong knowledge to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment
  • Ensure consistency in pay decisions aligned with company guidelines
  • Partner with leadership on reward strategies and program effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations across the region
  • Maintain knowledge of the HR regulatory environment and employment law
  • Identify and mitigate HR related risks
  • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Ownes employee data management and data integrity within HR systems (HRMS)
  • Ensures accurate reporting, recordkeeping, and audit readiness
  • Utilize HR data to support business decisions
  • Support visa and green card processing and administration, as applicable
  • Ensure compliance with employment authorization requirements
  • Deliver and coordinate training programs across the region
  • Support leadership development and capability building initiatives

Experience
  • Experience working in a union environment with strong knowledge of labor relations practices and collective bargaining agreements
  • Proven ability to manage employee relations matters within unionized settings, including grievance handling and contract interpretation
  • Experience supporting multi-site or manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of compensation, benefits, and HR operations within complex organizational structures
  • Experience working with HR systems (HRIS) and driving data accuracy and reporting improvements

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years HR experience
