As a member of a facilitated hospice center team, you will collaborate closely with other social workers, therapists, and specialists. Our virtual environment encourages constructive communication, teamwork, and creativity, facilitating a culture where every team member can thrive while focusing on enhancing our clients' quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children to identify their needs and strengths, utilizing standardized tools and observational methods.
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring they align with each child’s unique needs.
  • Monitor service outcomes and client progress as a crucial team member, making adjustments to plans as needed to optimize developmental gains.
  • Provide families with emotional support, resources, and strategies that promote their child’s growth and development.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and natural learning environment techniques to connect with families and children.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant Federal and State regulations and organizational policies, ensuring high standards of service provision.
  • Form meaningful connections with children and their caregivers to foster a positive, educational atmosphere that supports developmental learning.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members, ensuring consistency in methods and approaches for the benefit of child and family outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses primarily on young children aged 0-3 who face developmental challenges. You will be directly involved in early intervention strategies designed to enhance various skills, including physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication abilities. By collaborating with families, your role will ensure that both children and parents receive the essential support needed for healthy growth and development.

Qualifications

  • Current LICSW licensure issued by the Department of Public Health in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience working directly with children and families, preferably in an early intervention setting.
  • Strong organizational skills, including time management and task prioritization.
  • Ability to connect and communicate effectively with diverse groups, respecting different perspectives and experiences.
  • A valid driver’s license is necessary for potential client visits, and travel to team meetings may be required.
  • Comfortable with adapting approaches based on varied learning styles to meet individual child and family needs.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this enhances our support for diverse families.
Preferred Experience
  • Proven experience utilizing Natural Learning Environment Practices in therapeutic contexts.
  • Strong capability to build rapport with families and children to facilitate optimal learning experiences.
  • Experience with coaching and advising families on best practices in developmental support.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Excellent benefits include a sign-on bonus, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) with company matching, paid time off, life insurance, profit-sharing opportunities, discounts with various vendors, flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, and options for flexible scheduling.
