Job description

Five Star Solutions is looking for compassionate, patient, and dependable Customer Service Representatives to join our team.

We service a diverse customer base, making this role ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and understands the importance of patience, empathy, and clear communication.

Some calls may involve sensitive situations, including insurance claims related to cancer or the loss of a loved one. The ability to remain calm, listen carefully, provide reassurance, and treat every customer with dignity is essential.

This is a remote position for those that reside in = AL, GA, ID, IA, IN, KS, LA, MI, MS, NV, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TX, TN, UT, VA, WV, WI, WY

Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate, professional customer service to policyholders
  • Assist customers with questions regarding life, cancer, and other insurance policies
  • Help initiate and navigate sensitive claims when needed
  • Listen carefully and demonstrate empathy during emotional conversations
  • Communicate clearly and at a comfortable pace for customers
  • Provide accurate information while maintaining a calm and reassuring demeanor
  • Document customer interactions accurately and follow established procedures
  • Protect customer information and maintain confidentiality
  • Deliver a positive customer experience on every call
Qualifications

The ideal candidate is:

  • Patient and compassionate
  • Calm and professional, even during emotional conversations
  • A strong, attentive listener
  • Comfortable speaking clearly and at a slower, conversational pace
  • Empathetic and genuinely interested in helping others
  • Comfortable handling sensitive or emotional situations
  • Reliable, dependable, and committed to a consistent schedule
  • Professional and respectful when working with customers of all ages
  • Previous customer service, call center, healthcare, insurance, or senior-customer experience is a plus
$14 - $14 an hour

Starting pay - $14/hr plus shift differential(extra $1/hr nights & wkds)

Working hours between - 10:00am-7:00pm (EST) ; Work Days - M-F 

Paid Training - typically 2 weeks in length from 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Fri (EST)

Status - Full Time 40 hours, Benefit eligible 1st of month after 60 days
