Description
Remote (Utah or surrounding states) Full-Time Joyce University
Join Us in Transforming Healthcare Education
At Joyce University, work is more than a job - it's a shared commitment to student success, innovation, and purpose. We believe every student can, should, and will succeed, and we are building partnerships across Utah that expand access to healthcare education while strengthening the healthcare workforce communities rely on.
We are seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Director of Workforce Solutions & Employer Partnerships to lead and grow executive-level partnerships with healthcare employers across Utah. This role is ideal for a builder - someone who thrives creating new pathways, developing scalable partnership models, and turning workforce challenges into meaningful educational solutions.
This position is remote; however, candidates must reside in Utah and be able to travel regularly throughout the state to meet with healthcare employers and industry partners.
About the Role
The Director of Workforce Solutions & Employer Partnerships serves as a key driver of Joyce University's growth strategy by building and sustaining employer relationships that support workforce development and employee education pathways.
In this highly collaborative role, you will partner with healthcare executives, HR leaders, nursing leadership, and workforce development teams to design solutions that address retention, advancement, and degree attainment goals. You'll oversee the full partnership lifecycle - from strategy and relationship development to activation and enrollment outcomes - while collaborating cross-functionally across admissions, academics, finance, marketing, clinicals, and operations.
This is a high-impact role for a strategic operator who combines business development expertise with operational discipline, relationship leadership, and a passion for improving healthcare education outcomes.
What You'll Do
Build and Grow Employer Partnerships
  • Identify, prioritize, and develop relationships with healthcare employers across Utah, beginning with existing clinical partner organizations.
  • Conduct workforce needs assessments with healthcare executives, HR leaders, CNOs, and workforce development teams to understand staffing challenges, retention goals, and educational pathway opportunities.
  • Build and manage a segmented employer pipeline of 20+ target organizations using CRM tools and disciplined reporting practices.
  • Design, negotiate, and execute employer partnership agreements, including:
  • Tuition discount partnerships
  • Employer-sponsored cohorts
  • Direct-bill arrangements
  • MSN leadership pathways
  • Lead partnership activation efforts, including employee communications, HR portal coordination, and internal stakeholder alignment to ensure successful launch and engagement.

Drive Enrollment and Workforce Impact
  • Generate measurable enrollment growth through employer-sponsored student pipelines.
  • Partner closely with Admissions to create seamless referral and handoff processes for employer-sponsored applicants.
  • Track enrollment conversion metrics and partnership performance, providing regular reporting and insights to leadership.
  • Serve as a visible ambassador for Joyce University within Utah healthcare workforce networks, associations, and industry events.

Lead with Strategy and Operational Excellence
  • Deliver executive-level reporting on pipeline activity, signed agreements, enrollment outcomes, and revenue impact.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align employer commitments with institutional capabilities and student success outcomes.
  • Build scalable systems, processes, templates, and partnership playbooks that support long-term growth and operational excellence.
  • Contribute to expansion strategies and emerging workforce partnership opportunities across the healthcare landscape.

What's in It for You
At Joyce University, we invest in the success and well-being of our employees. As part of our team, you'll enjoy:
  • A generous self-directed PTO policy
  • Paid holidays and a 401(k) with employer match
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Fully paid short-term and long-term disability coverage
  • Professional development opportunities and world-class continuing education assistance
  • A supportive, collaborative team environment where your voice matters

Requirements
What You Bring
  • Proven success building executive-level partnerships, business development pipelines, or workforce solutions initiatives.
  • Experience working with healthcare organizations, healthcare education, workforce development, or related industries strongly preferred.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Operational discipline with experience using CRM systems, pipeline management, and data-driven decision making.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • A builder mindset with the ability to create structure, scale processes, and drive results in a growing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced education preferred.
  • A commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and relationship-centered leadership.
  • Ability to travel throughout Utah approximately 40% of the time.

What Will Make You Successful
You are:
  • Relationship-driven and highly collaborative
  • Strategic, organized, and execution-focused
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building new processes
  • Passionate about workforce development and educational access
  • A strong communicator who leads with empathy, accountability, and purpose
  • Motivated by measurable outcomes and long-term impact
