As a Senior Product Specialist on the Government & Public Services (GPS) Industry Solutions team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading end-to-end requirements gathering and business analysis for health and welfare benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans
  • Translating client needs into business requirements, end-to-end process maps, and configuration-ready functional specifications
  • Defining and documenting eligibility rules, enrollment logic, Qualified Life Events (QLEs), and payroll deduction rules for system configuration
  • Designing future-state workflows aligned to BenefitsIQ product capabilities to support standardization and reduce customizations
  • Collaborating with product, UI/UX, and technology teams to align screen behavior, rules-engine logic, and integration requirements
  • Validating configurations through test scenarios, reconciliation activities, and issue resolution related to enrollment, payroll, and carrier outcomes

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of experience delivering health and welfare benefits plans in roles such as product management, benefits operations, benefits administration, or business analysis
  • 3+ years of experience with benefits platforms such as Workday, SAP, or ADP
  • 2+ years of experience creating current-state and future-state business process maps
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel 0-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting federal, state, or local government benefits products
  • Experience supporting large employer benefits environments
  • Experience with Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB), Postal Service Health Benefits (PSHB), and Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Remote role, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Remote role and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,300 to $188,900.
