Sr. Java Programmer

Location: Richmond, VA

Interview Type: In Person

Work Arrangement: Remote

10+ years of experience required. Local profiles only (Must be within 3.5 hours drive of Richmond, VA office)

Complete Description: Manager is seeing this experience on the resumes but candidates so far are not able to speak to their experience when interviewed. PLEASE make sure this is being addressed before you submit them.

Required: Previous experience with the IBM integration tools like IIB, ODM, MQ which is the number one requirement. Only IN PERSON Interview. MUST BE within 3.5 hours drive of Richmond, VA office as on-site meetings occur on a regular basis. Must be available to pick-up equipment to start working.

About The Role:

This position will serve as a senior BACK-END application developer in the design, development, and maintenance of Java/ JEE based applications.

Solid experience with IBM SOA products like IIB, ODM, WAS, WTX, MQ is required to qualify for this position.

Experience with HealthCare EDI transactions is required.

Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design Methodology and Design Patterns like Singleton, Factory, Observer, Proxy, Demand, etc. is required.

Expertise in Core Java concepts, such as OOP Design, Multi-Threading, Generics, Exception Handling, Collections, Java Reflection, Annotation is required.

Extensive practical experience in building enterprise applications using Java EE technologies is required.

Experience in at least one Java application framework is required.

Experience in ORM frameworks, Configuration management, Build and testing tools is required.

Experience in application servers is desired.

Experience in HealthCare (Medicaid) is a plus.

Good understanding of relational database concepts, specifically Oracle, and software development life cycle is required.

Strong debugging and problem solving skills is required.
