• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate best practices and solution-based interventions tailored to each patient’s specific needs.
• Deliver psychotherapy sessions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address the unique challenges faced by individuals in substance abuse recovery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facilitate continuous care.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide coordinated care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance patient outcomes.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families regarding mental health and substance abuse recovery options, fostering understanding and empowerment.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in the field to integrate innovative therapeutic approaches into practice.
• Manage a robust caseload while meeting established treatment goals, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and practices.

In this role, you will primarily focus on individuals dealing with substance use disorders, often within the school setting. Your work will directly impact students, helping them navigate their recovery paths while addressing underlying mental health concerns. By fostering supportive relationships, you will guide them toward healthier lifestyles and a renewed sense of purpose.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LICSW license in Massachusetts.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience, specifically in Substance Abuse therapy.
• Proficiency in solution-based therapeutic interventions and a strong understanding of best practices in mental health treatment.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and collaborate with colleagues.
