The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy, a global leader in sustainable energy solutions, as a Project Manager within our Transformer Business Unit. In this dynamic role, you'll lead strategic projects for one of our key customers, ensuring seamless execution across multiple North American factories. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage complex timelines, and deliver exceptional results that power the future of energy. How You'll Make an Impact

  • Lead project teams with clear goals, tasks, and milestones.
  • Manage scope, budget, schedule, and quality to meet customer requirements.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers and resolve escalations.
  • Coordinate resources across factories and service teams for successful delivery.
  • Oversee project documentation, risk management, and compliance.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
  • PMP certification preferred; ability to obtain Hitachi Energy PM certification within 2 years.
  • Proven ability to lead remote teams and manage vendors/subcontractors.
  • Experience with SAP, MS Project, and other PM tools.
  • Knowledge of transformer manufacturing and North American energy sector is a plus.
