Job description

PlanIT Group is seeking a Windows Engineer / Packager to support our Federal customer in the Washington, DC area. The ideal candidate will have strong automation, scripting, and packaging skills for administration, automation of processes, and issue resolution. Must have experience authoring scripts using PowerShell 5 and batch. Must have experience performing remote deployments and integration of Windows 10 or 11 systems in a distributed environment
Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 Operating Systems. Strong knowledge of SCCM/MECM (Configuration Manager).
Job Title: Windows Engineer / Packager
Start Date: 07/28/25
Location: Remote in Raleigh, NC
Duration: One year plus annual extensions

• A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field, then four additional years of related experience is required.
Additional Provisions:
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
• All candidates must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
• Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
• Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
