Job description

Sales Representative – Level 1 | The Blind Bots
Location: Remote (U.S.-based) | Employment Type: Full-Time

About The Blind Bots

The Blind Bots is an AI-powered visualization platform built for window treatment retailers. We help our B2B clients — blinds, shades, shutters, and drapery dealers — close more sales by replacing outdated fabric swatches with instant, photorealistic renderings of their actual product catalogs placed directly into customers' real home images. The result? Higher confidence, faster decisions, and fewer returns.

Our platform gives sales teams a superpower: before a customer even places an order, they can see exactly how White Plantation Shutters, Light Wood Blinds, Sheer Drapes, or Dark Gray Solar Shades will look in their living room. We eliminate the dreaded "let me think about it" moment and replace it with a confident "yes."

Our statistics speak for themselves: clients using The Blind Bots see a 48% higher close rate, 35% fewer returns, and 2x faster buying decisions. We are in our launch momentum phase, rapidly onboarding retailers across the country, and we need driven salespeople to help us grow.

Our Product Suite

  • Photo Rendering: Upload any customer home photo and instantly visualize any product from the retailer's catalog — photorealistic, accurate, and tied directly to their SKUs.
  • Video Rendering: Bring the visualization to life with dynamic video renderings that show how products look in real light and real spaces.
  • AI Web Chatbot: An intelligent chatbot that engages website visitors, answers product questions, and drives demo bookings — installed free with any plan.
  • Installer Mobile App: Equips in-home installers and sales reps with a mobile tool to visualize products on-site in real time.
  • Unlimited Product Catalogs: Retailers can load their full catalog so every rendering reflects real, purchasable products — not generic placeholders.

Our Standard Plan starts at $189/month (or $1,890/year) with 100 visualization credits included and optional add-on credit packs. We also offer Enterprise Solutions with custom integrations including API and eCommerce connectivity.

The Role: Sales Representative – Level 1

As a Level 1 Sales Representative at The Blind Bots, you are the first point of contact for inbound and outbound B2B leads — independent window treatment retailers, dealer networks, and showroom owners across the U.S. Your primary job is to educate prospects about our platform, build a genuine relationship, and move them toward booking a product demonstration. You are not expected to close complex enterprise deals — your focus is on pipeline-building, outreach, qualification, and scheduling demos for our senior sales team or managing straightforward Standard Plan conversions yourself.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to grow with a company that is actively expanding. You'll be selling a product that genuinely helps small business owners compete with big-box retailers — a story that resonates quickly and sells itself when demonstrated well.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and reach out to B2B leads including window treatment retailers, blinds dealers, and showroom owners via phone, email, and video call.
  • Handle inbound inquiries and respond promptly to leads who request information about our platform.
  • Educate prospects on The Blind Bots platform — how AI-powered visualization works, what it does for close rates, and how it fits into their existing sales process.
  • Qualify leads based on business size, current sales challenges, and readiness to adopt new technology.
  • Schedule and coordinate product demonstration calls with qualified prospects.
  • Manage and update CRM records accurately to reflect all prospect interactions and pipeline status.
  • Follow up consistently and professionally with prospects who are in consideration.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of our product catalog, platform updates, pricing, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with the broader sales team to share feedback from the field and help refine our messaging.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs for outreach volume, demos scheduled, and qualified pipeline created.

Qualifications

  • Positive, professional, and energetic demeanor — you enjoy talking to people and are not discouraged by rejection.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — clear, concise, and confident.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with small business owners and decision-makers.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule in a remote environment.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay organized across multiple conversations and follow-up cycles.
  • Proficiency with a computer, email, CRM software, and video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
  • A genuine curiosity about technology and how it solves real business problems — no deep tech background required, just an eagerness to learn.
  • Prior sales experience is a plus but not required — we will train the right person.

Work Environment & Schedule

This is an almost entirely remote position. You will work from home the vast majority of the year with full flexibility in your day-to-day setup. We believe in trusting our team to get the work done without micromanagement or rigid in-office requirements.

A couple of times per year, we bring the full team together for in-person company events — think team kickoffs, product training sessions, or annual gatherings. These events typically run 2 to 4 days and attendance is required. All travel, lodging, and associated costs are fully paid by The Blind Bots. These events are a highlight for our team — a chance to connect face-to-face, collaborate, and celebrate wins together.

Outside of those events, your home is your office.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive hourly base pay: $15 – $20/hr, PLUS commission.
  • Travel fully covered for all required in-person company events
  • Growth opportunities — The Blind Bots is an early-stage company with real room to advance as we scale.

Why The Blind Bots?

You'll be joining a company at an exciting inflection point. Our platform is already delivering measurable results for retailers, our accuracy rating from users is outstanding, and we're onboarding new clients every week. You won't be a cog in a machine — you'll be an important part of a small, driven team that's building something meaningful. If you want to grow your sales career while helping real small business owners compete and win, this is the role for you.

We'd love to hear from you. Apply today and let's talk.
