The Psychological Mind-Body Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, including pre-crisis and crisis management strategies.
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring accurate records of all client interactions and treatment progress.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools to enhance patient evaluations and support the clinical team in delivering the best care possible.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate and implement positive behavior support plans, ensuring a holistic approach to each patient's well-being.
  • Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the clinic's commitment to quality and compliance.
  • Serve as a liaison to various service systems, state agencies, and community partners, facilitating seamless coordination of care for clients.
  • Foster open communication channels within the clinic and with external partners, reinforcing our mission to promote health and wellness in the community.
  • Participate in professional development activities, including relevant workshops and statewide meetings, to stay abreast of industry standards and enhance your skill set.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing emotional challenges, those in recovery from substance use disorders, and clients with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. Your focus will be to empower these individuals to achieve their emotional wellness goals, guiding them through tailored therapeutic modalities and fostering meaningful connections throughout their recovery journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is a prerequisite for this position.
  • Possession of an independent LMHC license issued by the state board is required to practice.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain clinical records and prepare comprehensive reports accurately.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, fostering a cooperative and constructive work atmosphere.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively express ideas and feedback.
  • Capable of exercising sound judgment and making independent decisions based on professional expertise.
Preferred Experience
