The Financial Wellness Consultant is responsible for cultivating and managing executive-level relationships with employer clients and key stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for Prosper Wise financial wellness services.
This role provides consultative guidance, leads ongoing client governance, and drives successful program execution, engagement, and outcomes through coordinated delivery with internal partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited, to the following:
Client Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders (HR, Total Rewards/Benefits, Finance, and senior leaders as applicable).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Prosper Wise, ensuring a high-quality, consistent client experience.
  • Understand clients' business objectives and workforce needs to align Prosper Wise solutions to client goals.

Consultative Services / Financial Wellness Strategy
  • Conduct discovery and ongoing needs assessments to recommend tailored financial wellness strategies and annual roadmaps.
  • Advise clients on program components such as financial education, coaching promotion, communication campaigns, and engagement initiatives.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to improve employee participation, experience, and measurable outcomes.

Program Management & Service Delivery Oversight
  • Lead client governance (status meetings, quarterly business reviews, annual planning) and document decisions, action items, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (delivery, communications, operations, product/technology, and sales as appropriate) to ensure seamless execution.
  • Proactively identify risks and resolve issues to maintain program momentum and client satisfaction.

Insights, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor engagement and utilization trends; translate reporting into clear insights and action plans.
  • Prepare and present executive-ready summaries and recommendations.
  • Capture client feedback and partner internally to continuously enhance the Prosper Wise experience.

Collaboration and Thought Leadership
  • Partner cross-functionally to support retention, expansion, and long-term client success.
  • Stay current on financial wellness trends, participant engagement best practices, and relevant regulatory considerations impacting employer programs.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • Requires four years of experience in relationship management and/or consulting capacity (financial wellness, retirement/benefits, financial services, or closely related field preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex clients and engaging senior/executive stakeholders.
  • Appropriate securities licenses required: FINRA Series 65/66.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $63,200 to $117,900.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
