  • Determine and coordinate appropriate dispositions for patients, facilitating access to the right level of mental health care.
  • Work in conjunction with Reentry Social Workers for effective discharge planning services, ensuring smooth transitions for patients.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including the Department of Correction, to guarantee that patients have access to necessary resources and treatment plans.
  • Lead group therapy sessions on mental health observation units and develop targeted group treatment strategies for various population needs.
  • Participate in clinical supervision sessions weekly with your Clinical Supervisor and engage in mental health and medical rounds as required.
  • Contribute to case conferences and treatment planning sessions, fostering multidisciplinary collaboration for the benefit of our patients.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a therapist in California is mandatory.
  • A strong commitment to ongoing professional development, with the readiness to engage in continued learning and training.
  • Demonstrated clinical skills, with a proven ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with adolescents and their families is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques will be advantageous.
  • Previous roles involving crisis intervention, mental health evaluations, and group therapy facilitation will enhance your application.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $52,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a fulfilling caseload, you will benefit from:
