What is a Remote Video Researcher?

A Remote Video Researcher is a professional who gathers, reviews, and analyzes video content from various sources to support projects such as documentaries, news segments, or entertainment productions. Working remotely, they use online databases, archives, and other digital tools to find relevant footage, verify its authenticity, and ensure it meets project requirements. They may also handle licensing, permissions, and cataloging of video assets. This role typically requires strong research skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with video editing or management software.

Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and clear written communication help you stand out in managing projects and collaborating remotely. Job description

Product Manager

WeVideo is the leading full-cycle video learning platform for content creators, businesses of all sizes, and educational institutions. We are currently seeking a Product Manager who will work cross-functionally to drive product initiatives from ideation to execution. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in sales, customer success, user research, user experience design, or engineering, and a passion for solving user problems through innovative product solutions.

In this role, you will:
  • Own Product Development: Take ownership of the product development lifecycle, from discovery to launch and iteration. Partner closely with engineering, design, and business teams to deliver impactful product solutions.
  • Drive User-Centric Innovation: Engage directly with customers to understand their needs, pain points, and workflows. Use insights to develop and prioritize a strategic product roadmap that aligns with company goals.
  • Define & Track Key Metrics: Establish measurable objectives to assess product success. Regularly analyze product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work alongside marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure seamless go-to-market strategies, adoption, and continuous product improvement.
  • Balance Strategy & Execution: Manage trade-offs between feature requests, technical constraints, and business needs while maintaining a clear product vision.
  • Lead Agile Development: Translate product requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable development tasks. Work in an Agile environment with engineering teams to iterate quickly.
  • Stay Ahead of Market Trends: Conduct competitive analysis, monitor industry developments, and identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Write. A lot: Document decisions, user research findings, Jira tickets, PRDs, etc. As a team, we write to solidify our thinking, communicate and keep everyone on the same page.
What We're Looking For:
  • 1-3 years of product management experience with a track record of successfully launching and managing SAAS products.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer success, UX research, design, or engineering-you've worked closely with users or technical teams before transitioning into product management and thrive off of customer interactions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. You juggle multiple priorities without dropping any of them.
  • Process driven. You know that the key to repeatable success is repeatable actions. You are consistent and follow through.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities-you can influence and align teams around a shared vision.
  • A bias for action-you're comfortable making decisions in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and iterating quickly.
  • Bonus: Experience working in a small team or in a high-growth, fast-moving organization.
  • Bonus: Experience in education or ed tech is a plus.
Benefits & Perks:
  • Competitive compensation
  • Flexible PTO
  • 12 Paid Holidays
  • Up to 4% 401k Match (100% Vested Upon Employment)
  • Medical Insurance with UnitedHealthcare

    • Dependent Premiums covered at 80%
  • Vision/Dental Insurance with Guardian
    • Employee Premiums covered at 100%
    • Dependent Premiums covered at 70%
  • Remote Work
Why You Might Like Working Here:
  • We foster a collaborative and supportive culture where team members learn from each other.
  • Long-tenured employees-many of our team members have been with us for years.
