Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, offering you the flexibility to craft your own schedule and balance personal and professional commitments. As part of our telehealth facility, you will conduct virtual counseling sessions, backed by a user-friendly counselor portal designed to support your practice. You will have minimal administrative burdens, allowing you to focus primarily on client care.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Conduct compassionate and ethical mental health counseling sessions via video chat, employing best practices in client engagement.
• Utilize solution-focused therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address the specific mental health challenges of clients, integrating feedback and adjusting strategies as necessary.
• Assist clients in gaining insight into their thoughts, emotions, and interpersonal relationships, fostering personal growth and resilience.
• Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans, implementing healthy coping mechanisms and empowering clients to take an active role in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on stable, low-acuity adult clients who present with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and stress management. Your expertise will be integral in helping these individuals develop the skills necessary for improved quality of life and overall well-being.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current, unrestricted mental health counseling license, including but not limited to Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist. Please provide your specific credentials along with the licensed state in your application.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and compassion toward clients.
• Proficient computer literacy, including familiarity with telehealth software.
• A reliable computer with audio and video capabilities, and a stable internet connection to facilitate seamless telehealth consultations.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences may enhance your candidacy:

• Prior experience in a telehealth or remote counseling position.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapy practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
• Experience working with diverse populations and varying mental health issues.
