Job description

Video Editor - Snowball
Full-Time | $80,000-$100,000/year | US Remote
We're building the best YouTube agency in the world.
We've assembled a crazy-talented group of YouTube strategists who've collectively generated over 110 billion views and shaped how YouTube works today. Our founder, Ryan Hashemi, built Jubilee to 14 million subscribers, has 4 Emmy nominations, and even trained the person who now is the CEO of MrBeast's studio. Our team comes from iconic names like WIRED, Vogue, Mini Katana (18M+ subs), and other influential YouTube brands.
(Learn more about Ryan's journey here: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7262864813221888000/ )
Now we're helping the world's biggest brands crack the code on YouTube and make content that people actually want to watch at scale.
We lead YouTube creative and content programming as a strategic channel. We staff and train in-house YouTube teams for clients, hiring video producers, editors, and strategists, and build long-form storytelling systems designed to compound over time. The result: evergreen content that earns millions of views, builds loyal audiences, and drives conversions.
Why This Is Exciting
After stepping down from Jubilee, Ryan is betting everything on Snowball, and that bet is already paying off.
The world's biggest brands know YouTube is the next frontier, they just need the right partner to help them win.
That's where you come in.
Your Role: Video Editor
As a founding Video Editor at Snowball, you will play a key role in shaping YouTube content for some of the biggest brands in the world.. You'll be crafting stories designed to hold attention, drive retention, and help channels scale through repeatable, high-performing formats.
You'll work closely with our world-class producers, strategists, and channel leads to bring ideas to life, refine pacing, and elevate the creative standard across every video. This role is ideal for an editor who understands that editing is storytelling and who is excited to push beyond technical execution into creative problem solving.
You'll be part of a team that treats YouTube as a strategic channel, building long-form content systems designed to grow audiences and deliver measurable results over time.
What You'll Do
  • Edit high-performing long-form YouTube content for our clients across established and emerging channels
  • Assemble rough cuts and refine them into polished, final edits
  • Execute pacing decisions that prioritize clarity, retention, and storytelling
  • Collaborate with producers and strategists to interpret creative briefs and bring concepts to life
  • Implement notes quickly and accurately across multiple feedback rounds
  • Manage multiple projects and clients at once while meeting deadlines
  • Maintain consistency across episodes, formats, and recurring content series
  • Ensure assets, timelines, and exports follow consistent internal standards
  • Support the development of repeatable editing systems that enable channel scale
  • Streamline editing processes and workflows to ensure projects stay on track and deadlines are met

What We're Looking For
  • 3-5+ years of professional editing experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling craft (required). YouTube experience preferred.
  • Deep proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or comparable editing software.
  • Strong understanding of YouTube pacing, structure, retention tactics, and platform best practices.
  • Experience editing educational, narrative, branded, or documentary-style content.
  • Experience editing long-form content (YouTube experience strongly preferred)
  • Understanding of pacing, retention, and storytelling structure
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments with competing client priorities and tight timelines
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to communicate clearly with producers and teams
  • Strong attention to detail and file organization skills
  • Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly
  • Passion for YouTube and curiosity about what makes content perform

What We Offer
  • Annual salary range: $80,000 - $100,000
  • Health & vision benefits
  • 401(k)
  • Remote-Hybrid flexible
  • Direct mentorship from the co-founders
  • Ground-floor opportunity at a fast-growing company

Our Values
  • Work hard, learn harder
  • Be effectively proactive
  • Overdeliver for clients
  • Be kind by being clear
  • A+ players only
