Sr. Linux/C#/Rest API/Audio/Video Engineer - Contract - 100% Remote (US Based)
We are expanding the team to continue to meet the needs of our growing streaming customer base and significantly expand the functionality and capabilities of our streaming service. We are seeking candidates who can thrive in an agile, collaborative, and dynamic space.
Skills:
  • 10+ years of experience in building applications.
  • Experience designing and developing REST APIs in C#.
  • Strong experience on Linux and in deploying C# .NET on applications in Linux.
  • Experience building production, public APIs, working with cloud services and backend components such as Redis, MySQL, S3, MongoDB, etc.
  • Experience in interfacing with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Public Cloud (AWS) and cloud-managed services/deployments.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in Audio/Video applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop our customer-facing REST APIs.
  • Design and implement algorithms for server orchestration, scaling, and loadbalancing.
  • Develop secure, highly available services to access multiple regions.
  • Debug, diagnose, and fix customer-affecting service issues.
  • Work with talented and friendly team members in multiple geographies daily.

Duration - 6 Months + extendible
Location - Remote (US Based)
