Job description

Stagedge is seeking an experienced Video Engineer (V1) to join a growing team as a leader on Live, Virtual and Hybrid Event project teams. The engineer contributes to system design and planning, and makes recommendations for development of the equipment inventory. At event jobsites, the engineer leads a team of technical specialists to provide safe and efficient installation and removal of temporary equipment and to ensure optimal communication between functional departments, Stagedge staff, clients, venue staff, and other vendors involved in the project. The video engineer will also perform in a lead operator role as required for the project. The ideal candidate has strong project management skills and a continuous learning mindset. The candidate brings experience with complex signal flow and networking for temporary system installations and expertise operating in live/virtual/hybrid-event video teams, with high-resolution switching, camera switching and directing, playback, recording, professional display systems (LED and Projection) and broadcast technology with strong troubleshooting skills. Ideal candidate will have a positive and professional attitude. Flexible Schedule is a must and experience with Vectorworks CAD software, wiring diagrams and project management tools are a plus.
