Title and Summary

Vice President, Treasury Strategy & Capital ManagementOverview:
The Corporate Treasury team performs all global treasury activities for Mastercard, including capital planning, rating agency relationship management, foreign exchange risk management, cash management/positioning, pensions asset-liability management, capital markets transactions (debt issuance, equity share buy-back), credit facility management, intercompany funding.
We are seeking a highly motivated Vice President to lead the Capital Planning and Analysis team within Corporate Treasury. This position will be based in Purchase, NY
Reporting to the Assistant Corporate Treasurer, this Vice President will play a central leadership role in shaping Mastercard's capital, liquidity, and funding strategy. This high-visibility position leads teams responsible for capital planning, capital markets execution, regulatory capital and liquidity management, and Treasury M&A integration. Key responsibilities include overseeing the company's capital structure and liquidity resiliency framework; using stress testing to evaluate liquidity and capital adequacy; leading debt issuance, commercial paper, and enterprise funding plans; managing the company's corporate revolver and associated bank group relationships; supporting shareholder capital return decisions (including overseeing our share repurchases and dividend distributions); managing cash and investment decisions; maintaining strong rating agency relationships; leading global regulatory capital and liquidity matters; and partnering on M&A due diligence and integration from a Treasury perspective.
Role:
Lead development of capital structure strategy, including target capital and liquidity levels, supported by rigorous financial modeling, ratings and leverage analysis, and stress testing.
Own the Board-level capital planning materials and develop recommendations on dividends and share repurchases.
Managing the associated bank group relationships supporting our key funding and risk management requirements.
Lead Mastercard's funding strategy and execution of term debt issuance and commercial paper program to support critical transactions and liquidity needs.
Oversee the rating agency relationships.
Oversee the investments team managing Mastercard's corporate cash portfolio and optimizing investment income.
Lead forecasting of interest income and expense and maintain robust budget and management reporting to give leadership clear visibility costs and key drivers.
Oversee share repurchase execution and evaluate opportunities to enhance program structure and timing.
Manage the company's corporate credit facility, including sizing, structuring, execution, and governance.
Lead regulatory capital and liquidity management, including oversight of capital and recovery plans, compliance with capital and regulatory requirements, and supporting the global Regulatory team in responses to regulatory inquiries.
Lead and develop a high-performing Treasury team.
All About You:
Proven leadership experience in corporate treasury, ideally within a large, complex organization.
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making informed, calculated decisions.
Deep experience in debt issuance, capital markets execution, and investment portfolio management.
Advanced financial modeling capabilities and knowledge of financial concepts.
Demonstrated experience developing materials and recommendations for senior leadership and Boards of Directors.
Written and oral English language proficiency; strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.

The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
