  • Configure and maintain benefits plan rules in the benefits system (eligibility, enrollment, life events, deductions, and interfaces), validating changes through testing and analysis to protect data integrity and support ongoing compliance.
  • Partner with People Operations, Payroll, HR partners, Legal, Finance (Purchasing), and external vendors to support coordinated implementation of benefits processes and updates; identify gaps, document procedures, and recommend practical improvements to strengthen consistency and controls.
  • Support leave administration in partnership with the third-party leave administrator by coordinating case activity, confirming eligibility inputs and required documentation, and guiding employees and stakeholders through process steps and timelines; elevate exceptions and complex scenarios as needed.
Compliance, Audits, Analytics & Cyclical Benefits Activities

  • Support benefits surveys, renewals, and vendor updates by gathering data, analyzing market and utilization trends, and contributing to recommendations and materials for program changes and cyclical activities.
  • Partner with the team to drive key components of the annual open enrollment process (e.g., system testing, content updates, employee communications, and presentations) and support post-enrollment issue resolution.
  • Analyze and reconcile benefits and leave data across systems and partners to ensure accurate payroll deductions, eligibility, and reporting; research variances, coordinate corrections, and document outcomes.
  • Perform other related duties and provide operational support as needed to ensure continuity and effectiveness across Benefits programs and cyclical activities.

  • Experience configuring and maintaining benefits plan rules and performing audits/reconciliations in HRIS/benefits systems; able to validate changes through testing and analysis to ensure accuracy, data integrity, and effective controls.
  • Exposure to benefits surveys, renewals, and benchmarking; ability to analyze trends, summarize findings, and contribute to recommendations and materials for program updates and cyclical activities (e.g., open enrollment).
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Solid understanding of benefits operations, compliance fundamentals, and documentation standards; comfortable interpreting policies and escalating when appropriate.
  • Clear communicator able to explain benefits concepts, processes, and decisions to employees, managers, and vendors.
  • Analytical and process-oriented; able to conduct audits, identify root causes, and recommend practical improvements.
