About the Role 

Join our team building VECTR, a cybersecurity tool used by Fortune 500 companies for purple team collaboration and adversary simulation reporting. Work building software at the cutting edge of cross-team security operations. As a Senior Frontend Developer, you'll independently own major features from concept to deployment, working with high-level requirements and collaborating with our product team to bring mockups and wireframes to life. You'll need strong design judgment and confidence to make UX decisions that align with our existing application. 

This role thrives on ownership and impact in a small team environment.

What You'll Actually Do 

  • Translate mockups and wireframes into production-ready Vue 3 components 
  • Build complete features from requirements through deployment 
  • Make thoughtful UI/UX decisions with minimal specifications 
  • Establish patterns and build reusable components for application consistency 
  • Collaborate with backend developers and product team to ship features quickly 
  • Optimize performance and ensure responsive, accessible interfaces 
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues 
  • Use AI coding tools effectively to increase throughput and quality

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience 

  • 5+ years of frontend development with Vue 3 ecosystem expertise (Composition API, Vue Router, Pinia, PrimeVue) 
  • Tailwind CSS for rapid styled component development 
  • Solid foundation in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) 
  • Strong design intuition for interpreting and expanding on Balsamiq, Figma, or Photoshop mockups  
  • Ability to translate rough concepts into polished interfaces matching existing patterns  
  • Comfortable making independent UI/UX decisions with minimal guidance 
  • Proficiency with Git workflows  
  • Modern build tools experience (Vite preferred, Webpack)  
  • Experience integrating with backend APIs (GraphQL and/or REST)  
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and independent priority management 
  • Portfolio of shipped work like a personal site, GitHub, live products, or case studies demonstrating frontend craft and feature ownership

Preferred (Not Required) 

  • Linux environments experience 
  • Docker and containerization familiarity 
  • Testing experience (Playwright, Vitest, or similar) 
  • Accessibility (a11y) best practices and WCAG standards
