Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for new clients to understand their backgrounds, needs, and treatment goals, laying the groundwork for personalized therapeutic strategies.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to address clients’ unique challenges.
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing telehealth platforms to create a welcoming, effective therapeutic environment.
• Facilitate educational workshops and support groups aimed at increasing community awareness and providing emotional comfort for clients dealing with shared mental health struggles.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients, addressing all aspects of mental health.
• Respond promptly to mental health crises, providing immediate support and intervention to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring that all records reflect the care provided.
• Engage in regular case consultations, utilizing team meetings to share insights, learn from colleagues, and improve therapeutic practices.
• Commit to continuous professional growth by staying current with the latest research in mental health therapies and attending training sessions sponsored by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will include individuals from various backgrounds facing mental health challenges. This includes children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your experience and understanding of cultural diversity will be essential in tailoring therapy approaches that resonate with each client's unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.
• Proven expertise in evidence-based treatment strategies and therapeutic techniques applicable to a diverse range of mental health disorders.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and rapport-building with clients and their families.
• Demonstrated ability to assess client needs effectively and develop actionable treatment plans that promote successful outcomes.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology, helping to streamline service delivery and documentation processes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience conducting therapy in a telehealth setting and utilizing digital platforms effectively for client engagement.
• Previous involvement in group therapy sessions or psychoeducational workshops.

Compensation and Benefits
