As a FIELD SPEC IV - ALS/Remote Troubleshooter, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality field services while supporting customer operations and business objectives. As a FIELD SPEC IV - ALS/Remote Troubleshooter, you will leverage your technical expertise, adaptability, and customer-focused approach to support field operations and deliver exceptional service outcomes. You will be responsible for troubleshooting operational challenges, adjusting to evolving job requirements, and ensuring successful execution of service activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

As a FIELD SPEC IV - ALS/Remote Troubleshooter, you will be responsible for:

  • Demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support operational objectives.

  • Providing technical assistance and guidance to customers and co-workers to ensure successful service execution.

  • Coordinating and dispatching service technicians to customer locations in support of operational and service requirements.

  • Receiving customer calls, responding to service inquiries, and accurately entering job requests into Job Center.

  • Troubleshooting equipment and operational issues while identifying and implementing corrective actions.

  • Supporting field operations by occasionally traveling to customer sites to assist with service calls, troubleshooting activities, and ESP commissioning as required.

  • Executing field service activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, quality standards, and operating procedures.

  • Providing technical support and expertise during installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service operations.

  • Adapting work methods and operational approaches to address changing field conditions and customer requirements.

  • Communicating effectively with customers to understand operational needs and provide timely solutions.

  • Building and maintaining positive customer relationships through professional service delivery and responsiveness.

  • Managing and maintaining truck inventory to ensure equipment, tools, and materials are available to support service delivery activities.

  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful planning and execution of field activities.

  • Maintaining accurate service documentation, operational records, and reporting requirements.

  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

  • Promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a High School Diploma/GED; a two-year Technical Degree is preferred.

  • Have relevant industry experience and product line training.

  • Have strong technical, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Have the ability to adapt quickly and alternate methods of task completion when required.

  • Have strong customer service and relationship management skills.

  • Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
