This is a full-time, direct placement role at Citadel Roofing and Solar.


Status: Commission Only

Location: Remote - Preferably based in Northern California

Reports To: Solar Sales Manager


Overview: Citadel Roofing & Solar is seeking a driven and experienced Outside Energy Consultant to join our residential sales team. You'll build relationships with homeowners, identify their roofing and energy needs, and present customized solar and battery solutions that deliver the best value and performance. The ideal candidate has experience in roofing, solar, or construction sales-preferably in-home sales experience-and is based in Northern California. This position requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to guide homeowners confidently through the sales process from consultation to close.


Responsibilities:

Meet and exceed monthly sales goals

Qualify leads, design systems, and close deals

Conduct in-home consultations to educate homeowners

Follow up on company-provided and self-generated leads

Generate referrals through exceptional customer experiences

Negotiate contracts with professionalism and integrity

Maintain CRM pipeline and update customer records

Partner with operations for a smooth installation process
