• Establish and cultivate positive, trusting relationships with clients, fostering an atmosphere conducive to open communication.
• Diagnose mental health disorders through comprehensive assessments, tailoring treatment plans to the unique circumstances and needs of each patient.
• Facilitate individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods to promote emotional healing and improved interpersonal relationships.
• Conduct regular follow-up sessions to monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary, referring clients to specialized services that complement their treatment needs.
• Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with organizational policies and state regulations, ensuring compliance with all confidentiality and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay updated on the latest therapeutic techniques and mental health trends.

Your primary focus will be on providing therapy to a diverse range of clients, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, family conflict, and other mental health issues. You will be instrumental in guiding them towards healthier lifestyles, promoting emotional resilience, and facilitating positive family dynamics through tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Must possess a valid LMFT license in the state of Florida.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated strong therapeutic skills with the ability to motivate clients through empathetic engagement and professional support.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems is preferred for efficient documentation and tracking of patient progress.

• Experience in addiction counseling and a thorough understanding of evidence-based practices related to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Previous work in a community health or outpatient clinic setting, with an emphasis on family therapy.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to patient care.
