Aurora Mind Health Advocates is searching for a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' history and current mental health status.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using a strengths-based approach focused on trauma recovery.
• Facilitate therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address trauma symptoms.
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions to encourage healing and coping skill development.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention support effectively during trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and available support resources.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal requirements and organizational policies.
• Engage in regular consultations with colleagues, participate in team meetings, and pursue professional development relating to trauma-informed care.
• Stay informed on advancements in trauma therapy and incorporate new methods into practice as appropriate.

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, violence, and other life-altering events. Our clients range in age and diverse backgrounds, often presenting complex mental health needs that require a nuanced understanding of trauma's impact on well-being. You will play a pivotal role in guiding them toward recovery and resilience through tailored therapeutic approaches.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Georgia.
• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience preferably in trauma-informed settings.
• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach.
• Competent in electronic health record (EHR) systems and online therapeutic platforms.
• Able to function effectively as part of a multidimensional care team.

• Experience delivering evidence-based trauma therapies and engaging with diverse populations in a telehealth format.
• Advanced training in specific therapeutic modalities related to trauma recovery.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
