• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and develop appropriate treatment plans tailored to their needs.
• Implement individualized treatment strategies that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and evidence-based therapies, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring a safe space for clients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and mental health professionals to provide integrated care, addressing complex patient needs effectively.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, employing your training to stabilize and reassure clients in distress.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to promote awareness and understanding.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in strict compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to continuously enhance your understanding of trauma-informed care.
• Stay abreast of the latest research, best practices, and innovations in trauma therapy to provide high-quality care to patients.

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. These patients often require sensitive, empathetic, and skilled therapists who understand the intricacies of trauma recovery. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a relevant field.
• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed care principles.
• Demonstrated capability in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and maintaining therapeutic relationships.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, embodying a compassionate, non-judgmental approach toward patients.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under stressful situations, ensuring that the needs of clients are met effectively.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication platforms.
• A collaborative spirit to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

While a minimum of 2 years of experience is required, applicants with more extensive backgrounds in trauma-focused therapies, particularly in remote settings, will be highly regarded. Candidates who have led group therapy sessions or specialized in complex cases will find this role particularly fulfilling.
