We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Helping Hands Counseling Services. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote telehealth work, enabling you to provide critical mental health support to individuals affected by trauma.

This role is set within a fully remote telehealth framework, allowing you to connect with patients from the comfort and safety of their own homes. We emphasize flexibility in scheduling to accommodate patient needs while maintaining a work-life balance. A typical schedule spans from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some variation possible based on client requirements.

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's history and current challenges, informing tailored treatment pathways.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, leveraging evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Deliver engaging and supportive individual and group therapy sessions that encourage patients to process their trauma, foster coping strategies, and promote overall healing.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals, to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for our patients.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients feel supported during moments of acute distress.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms while guiding them through available resources for further support.
• Maintain detailed and confidential patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate actively in inter-professional case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on the latest trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay current with research advancements in trauma therapy to continually refine and enhance treatment offerings.

As a therapist at Helping Hands Counseling Services, you will have the privilege of working with a diverse group of clients facing significant challenges stemming from trauma. Our focus includes those struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, showcasing your ability to effectively support trauma survivors.
• D demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders, effective treatment methodologies, and resilience-building strategies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of exhibiting compassion and a non-judgemental approach in clinical settings.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and strong computer skills are essential to both patient documentation and data management.
• Capacity to work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team environment to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies that have concrete outcomes for patients.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with various populations, understanding the complexities of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and remote therapeutic practices is advantageous.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Our compensation package includes:
