Job description

Description

Location: Primarily remote
Salary Range: $80 - $90k

Behavior Frontiers is dedicated to best-practice care, focusing on delivering high-quality, evidence-based ABA services that create meaningful, lasting change for clients and their families. We prioritize individualized treatment, ethical decision-making, and culturally responsive support, ensuring every client receives care tailored to their unique strengths and needs.  Central to this mission is a strong investment in in-depth, ongoing staff training – equipping technicians with clinical skills and hands-on training to uphold the highest standards of practice.

We’re looking for a Training Manager who is passionate about shaping the next generation of ABA professionals and elevating the quality of care we deliver to our clients. In this role, you’ll oversee the full Initial ABA Training experience for new Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs), ensuring they enter the field confident, competent, and ready to make a meaningful impact.

You’ll work closely with the Training Director and clinical leadership while supervising and supporting our Training Coordinators—the team members who bring our training programs to life each day.

What You’ll Do
You directly influence client outcomes. High-quality training leads to high-quality therapy—and you’re at the center of that transformation.
You elevate the training team. Through coaching and supervision, you help Training Coordinators grow into stronger leaders and practitioners.

New Hire Training Oversight
  • Manage full training experience for new BTs/RBTs.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality instruction in ABA principles, BF systems, and BF policies and procedures.
  • Strengthen the new hire experience, track trainee progress using performance metrics, and determine readiness for direct therapy.
Training Coordinator Supervision
  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance evaluations for Training Coordinators (TCs).
  • Conduct audits and observations to maintain training quality and protocol adherence.
  • Hold weekly or biweekly check-ins with TCs to review trainee progress, troubleshoot challenges, and implement improvements.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex training issues or trainee concerns.
General Responsibilities
  • In partnership with the Training Director, support refinement of Initial ABA Training, identify training gaps and elevate the training process as a whole.
  • Ensure compliance with state and funding-source training requirements.
  • Maintain accurate training records and support audit processes.
  • Provide BCBA supervision to TCs pursuing hours, in alignment with BACB requirements.
  • Provide supervision to RBTs who are conducting training.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support organizational growth and operational success.
Who we’re looking for:
  • BCBA (preferred); master’s degree in ABA or Certified RBT (required)
  • Minimum 3-5 years ABA experience, including supervisory or training experience
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles, ethical standards, and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data, translate feedback, and convert business needs into actionable training strategies
  • Comfortable with video modeling, virtual coaching and remote performance evaluations
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and effective in a remote work environment
  • Moves quickly and collaboratively to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Reliable internet and a private, professional workspace
Perks of the Role
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Paid Maternity Leave – up to 9 weeks
  • Competitive bonus structure
  • Annual Learning Stipend – stay ahead in your field (for BCBA)
  • Ongoing education and free CEUs – Monthly Clinical Summits with world-renowned speakers
