This position offers a remote work setting, allowing our Licensed Mental Health Counselor to work flexibly while maintaining the productivity and effectiveness of traditional outpatient care. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations of clients’ mental health needs through interviews and standardized testing instruments, subsequently documenting findings accurately.
• Provide tailored one-on-one counseling sessions to individuals facing an array of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, including support and psychoeducational groups, where clients can share experiences, learn coping strategies, and foster community support.
• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, delineating clear goals and measurable interventions aligned with their unique needs and preferences.
• Deliver immediate support in crisis situations, performing risk assessments, and coordinating emergency interventions as necessary, while ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
• Commit to ongoing professional development, engaging in workshops and training sessions to remain informed on the latest research and therapeutic practices in mental health.
• Work in tandem with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals to provide comprehensive care and continuity of support for clients.

• Strong clinical skills in conducting assessments and evaluations of mental health needs, with the ability to synthesize information effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client care.

• Additional certifications or training in specialized areas such as trauma-informed care, addiction counseling, or family therapy.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate documentation and client records.
• Experience working in a remote or telehealth environment, with a strong understanding of digital communication tools.
