Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their specific needs and challenges.
  • Provide crisis intervention services and ensure immediate support for clients in distress.
  • Make referrals and contact community agencies to secure additional support for clients and their families.
  • Engage clients in beneficial activities to promote recovery and resilience.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to professional and ethical standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports that document client progress, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Attend training sessions, supervision meetings, and collaborate closely with other health professionals to enhance service delivery.
  • Observe and report any signs of child abuse in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing multifaceted challenges. Your ability to recognize age-related and specialty issues will be crucial in tailoring your approach to meet the developmental needs of each individual. You will address various mental health conditions, facilitating access to treatment and essential services to significantly improve clients’ quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
  • Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California is mandated for this position.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to effectively engage clients and document progress comprehensively.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Expert knowledge in risk assessment, crisis management, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment strategies.
  • A commitment to understanding and addressing age-related or specialty issues unique to each client demographic is necessary.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is preferred, with a focus on working with vulnerable populations.

Compensation and Benefits

Solaris Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
