Job description

Title: Teradata DBA
Location: St Louis, MO - Remote

Duration: 4+ Months Contract
Qualifications and Experience:
Teradata DBA with more than 10 years' experience including some experience with Teradata V17.10 or higher.
Experience with Performance tuning is mandatory
Advanced working knowledge of Teradata RDBMS at both physical and logical levels.
Advanced working knowledge of the Teradata suite of tools: Teradata Studio, TDWM, BTEQ, ARCMAIN, FASTOAD, MLOAD, TPUMP, TPT, DBQL, and PDCR.
Working knowledge of Viewpoint, Teradata Data Mover, and Teradata BAR technology.
3+ years working as a Teradata DBA professionally are ideal.
Experience working in a production environment with minimal to no downtime allowed.
Responsibilities:
Optimizing developer, as well as, customer SQL.
Design, model, configure, test, and install databases.
Perform and troubleshoot database backup, recovery, capacity, and security plans.
Administer, maintain, and implement changes to existing databases to meet Customer requirements.
Respond to test and production database problems and implement immediate resolution efforts across technology areas.
