As a Teradata Specialist, you will support operations and manage delivery for production systems, collaborate with teams, and provide solutions to complex problems using your expertise in Teradata systems and related technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Support the operations and managing delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreements.
• You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.
• You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
• Additionally, you will provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Familiar with Teradata Systems setup, GDO, DBS Control etc.
• Working knowledge of Mainframe interfaces and execution; TDP, JCL, TSO, ISPF, GATEWAY MEDIATION, NDM.
• Experience with Linux / Unix operating systems.
• Automation scripting experience using BASH / Python is a must have for this role.
• Teradata security, SSO and Active directory integration.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5 years+ of work experience
• Proficiency in Teradata Database
• Advanced working knowledge of Teradata RDBMS at both physical and logical levels
• Advanced working knowledge of Teradata suite of tools; Data Mover, BAR, TASM, TTU Tools, TPT, DBQL, PDCR, Viewpoint
• Associate's degree
