The Associate position is a full-time entry level consulting staff position. Associate positions are for candidates with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and July 2027.

From day one, you'll work alongside experienced consultants and senior executives to help organizations solve complex strategic, operational, financial, and organizational challenges. As an Associate working in one of our advisory practices, you'll contribute to high-impact engagements that help clients improve performance, accelerate growth, optimize operations, and navigate change in an increasingly dynamic business environment.

You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, data-driven solutions that create measurable value for clients. Whether supporting strategy, operational transformation, performance improvement, organizational effectiveness, or technology-enabled change, you'll play an important role in helping organizations achieve their most critical business objectives.

What You'll Do

As an Associate, you'll be an integral member of project teams, partnering with consultants and client leaders to analyze complex business challenges, develop actionable recommendations, and support implementation efforts. You'll gain exposure to a variety of industries, business functions, and executive-level initiatives while building the analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills that define successful consultants.

Your work will combine quantitative and qualitative analysis, strategic thinking, and client collaboration. Responsibilities may include:

  • Conducting market, operational, financial, and organizational analyses to support board and executive decision-making.

  • Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Developing board- and executive-ready presentations, reports, dashboards, and other client deliverables.

  • Performing industry, competitive, and market research to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

We're looking for analytical problem-solvers with strong communication skills from diverse academic and professional backgrounds who are eager to take on challenges and thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, mathematics, data science, statistics, finance, accounting, healthcare administration, healthcare informatics, engineering, environmental science or a related field. A GPA of 3.5 or higher is highly desirable.

  • Experience: 0-2 years of work experience, including internships.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel is required; experience with MS SQL Server, R, Python, Stata, SAS, Tableau, Snowflake, Alteryx, Databricks, or Teradata is highly desirable. The willingness and interest to expand into these capabilities is a must.

  • Research: Ability to perform complex research accurately, thoroughly, and efficiently.

Construction: We specialize in providing our clients with budgetary and payment oversight, project management recommendations, project scheduling generation, and constructability and viability analyses for both upcoming and ongoing construction projects. With our team of engineers with years of field construction experience, we assist our clients in securing the best outcomes for their projects, minimizing their exposure to potential future claims or disputes, and ensuring that their jobs are completed on schedule and within budget. It is recommended that candidates display an understanding of the construction industry and have a prior familiarity with project scheduling interfaces, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.

Locations

Associates will primarily be hired in locations like Washington DC, Boston, New York, and Chicago. There are also a limited number of opportunities in smaller offices like Tampa and Pittsburgh). Associates are expected to work a minimum of 3 days per week from an office, though we highly encourage new Associates to work from the office as often as possible.

Remote roles for practices that require frequent travel to client sites are also available.
