Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with clients to create a safe and open atmosphere for therapy.
• Perform thorough assessments to diagnose and treat mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on clients' unique circumstances and therapeutic needs, tracking their progress regularly.
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate healing.
• Continuously evaluate client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and specialists as needed to offer holistic care approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse array of clients, including individuals, couples, and families from varying backgrounds and life situations. The clientele may include those seeking help for grief, relationship challenges, personal development, and various mental health conditions, allowing you to utilize your skills in diverse therapeutic contexts.

Qualifications

• A valid and active State license as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Proven experience in delivering individual and/or group therapy in a clinical setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to juggle session schedules, patient notes, and treatment plans effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and telecommunication tools to facilitate effective remote therapy sessions.
• Experience using evidence-based practices in therapy, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Family Systems Therapy.
• Ability to work with a wide demographic range and adapt approaches to meet varying cultural, social, and individual needs.

Compensation and Benefits
