About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our team, providing advanced technical support and enterprise network design for our customers. This role combines hands-on break-fix troubleshooting with strategic network planning, architecture, and security implementation. You'll work directly with customers, so strong communication skills are a must.
What You'll Do
  • Provide quick break-fix resolution for customers using managed routers, managed firewalls, SD-WAN, managed network edge, and similar technologies
  • Plan and implement enterprise networks and related hardware/software
  • Design and document network architecture
  • Perform assessments on existing technologies to identify performance and capacity gaps
  • Establish security parameters, including firewalls, intrusion detection, connectivity, and access controls
  • Provide recommendations to optimize network infrastructure
  • Test and tune security devices and systems
  • Program routers and switches
  • Implement communications technologies (data and voice)
  • Manage network services from planning through implementation
  • Participate in an on-call rotation
  • Provide secondary support for Cisco Umbrella, Cisco DUO, and Wi-Fi
What We're Looking For
  • 5-10 years of relevant network engineering experience
  • Advanced experience with managed routers, managed firewalls, SD-WAN, and managed network edge technologies
  • Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware/software, security technologies, and network infrastructure
  • Certifications such as Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, or similar strongly preferred
  • Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with direct customer-facing experience
  • Willingness and ability to participate in an on-call rotation
