We're looking for a talented Network Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC. This position will support a complex government client and will provide network operations and infrastructure support in a hybrid enterprise environment. In this role, you will help maintain connectivity, troubleshoot outages, and support secure, reliable operations across network systems and services.
Work Location:
Hybrid - A mix of onsite and remote work.
Clearance:
Must be US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Support daily operations of LAN, WAN, VPN, and related network infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot outages, performance issues, and connectivity problems
  • Support firewall, routing, switching, and network security activities
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and technical procedures
  • Assist with infrastructure patching, compliance, and operational support
  • Coordinate with engineering teams on changes, upgrades, and issue resolution
  • Support incident response and escalation handling for infrastructure issues
  • Document technical findings, actions taken, and recommended improvements
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of network engineering or infrastructure support experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Experience supporting enterprise network environments
  • Cisco networking technologies including routing and switching
  • Firewall and VPN technologies
  • Enterprise network troubleshooting and issue isolation
  • Infrastructure documentation and operational support
  • Hybrid cloud connectivity concepts
  • Monitoring, escalation, and change support in enterprise environments
  • CompTIA Security+
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CCNP
  • MCSE or RHCE
