What you'll do

As the Product Manager for the commerce platform, you will identify opportunities, develop the product roadmap and deliver the capabilities to drive customer satisfaction and maximize revenue generation opportunities. This role must be able to discover and analyze customer pain points, opportunities, and synthesize them into clear product requirements and roadmaps. You will be responsible for developing the product strategy and a product roadmap that extends across multiple surfaces in the commerce space. You'll shape Docusign's commerce platform and develop capabilities that will drive the next chapter of growth for Docusign with focus on how our customers try our products, buy our products, and manage their subscriptions with Docusign.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Product Management, Commerce Platform.

Responsibility

  • Define commerce capabilities that enable customers to self-serve, try, buy, and manage their subscription

  • Drive new customer acquisition, expansion, and retention across all commerce channels

  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic goals and OKRS

  • Prioritize features and initiatives based on business impact and available resources

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, engineering, design, and sales, to define product requirements and prioritize features

  • Document clear requirements and use cases to be passed on to UX and Engineering teams and drive product initiatives from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of new features and enhancements

  • Use a combination of qualitative and quantitative data insights, as well as industry best practices to prioritize opportunities across Docusign's customer journey

  • Utilize data analytics and metrics to assess product performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions

  • Monitor KPIs related to revenue, conversion, and other relevant metrics

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Design and Engineering

  • 8+ years of experience in digital product management

  • 5+ years of experience having worked directly with UX, Engineering, and Testing teams

  • Experience driving complex projects across a large, cross functional organization

Preferred

  • MBA/MA

  • Familiarity with the product led growth customer journey for SaaS and the commercial models of leading SaaS products

  • Ability to incorporate industry best practices into your product requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate with a wide range of team members and job functions, including executives

  • Ability to lead through influence across teams

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data from a variety of sources, identify key insights, spot optimization opportunities, and inform product decisions, with a bias towards building capabilities that scale and a focus on execution

  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats and working in the details across varying disciplines

  • AI-fluency, can use LLMs and agents as a force multiplier of your work

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $146,400.00 - $235,375.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
