Job description

Ichor Systems is hiring for a Senior Director of Environmental, Social and Governance. The leader of ESG at Ichor provides enterprise leadership for Ichor's Environmental, Social and Governance strategy, governance, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.

Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this leader partners across the enterprise to develop and execute strategies that strengthen Ichor's long-term business performance, reputation, and commitment to responsible corporate citizenship. The role serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, customers, investors, and the Board of Directors, translating evolving stakeholder expectations into practical business strategies that enhance governance, sustainability, social responsibility, and enterprise value.

This leader combines strategic vision with disciplined execution, ensuring Ichor continues to evolve as an innovative technology company recognized for operational excellence, responsible business practices, and meaningful community impact.
This position would ideally be located at one of our locations in Fremont, CA, Austin, TX, Sauk Rapids, MN, or Tualatin, OR, however, remote candidates within the US, will also be considered. 

What you will do!
ESG Strategy & Governance

  • Develop, execute, and continuously evolve Ichor's enterprise ESG strategy and multi-year roadmap. 
  • Lead the company's ESG governance framework, including the ESG Council, executive governance processes, and Board reporting. 
  • Translate customer, investor, regulatory, and industry expectations into actionable business priorities. 
  • Establish enterprise metrics, accountability, and governance mechanisms that drive measurable ESG performance. 
  • Monitor emerging ESG trends and advise executive leadership on strategic opportunities and business risks. 


ESG Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead development and publication of Ichor's annual ESG Report. 
  • Manage enterprise ESG disclosures, sustainability reporting, customer ESG requests, and external benchmarking activities. 
  • Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory, customer, and governance requirements. 
  • Develop executive presentations and communication materials that clearly articulate Ichor's ESG strategy, progress, and impact. 
  • Represent Ichor with all stakeholders on ESG-related matters. 


Corporate Social Responsibility & Enterprise Reputation

  • Develop and execute Ichor's global Corporate Social Responsibility strategy in alignment with the company's purpose, culture, and business objectives. 
  • Lead enterprise initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, community investment, volunteerism, education partnerships, and responsible corporate citizenship. 
  • Build strategic relationships with universities, nonprofit organizations, industry associations, and community partners that enhance Ichor's reputation and long-term talent pipeline. 
  • Identify innovative and creative opportunities that differentiate Ichor as a responsible industry leader while strengthening stakeholder relationships within the communities in which Ichor operates. 
  • Partner across the enterprise to ensure ESG and CSR initiatives reinforce Ichor's employer brand, culture, and corporate reputation. 


Enterprise Program Leadership

  • Provide executive leadership for enterprise-wide initiatives supporting ESG and corporate governance, including Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), DEI governance, and other strategic cross-functional programs. 
  • Influence and align leaders across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, EHS, HR, Legal, and Investor Relations to deliver enterprise outcomes without direct reporting authority. 
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across all ESG and CSR initiatives. 

What you will bring!
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or MBA preferred. 
  • Ten or more years of progressive leadership experience in ESG, Sustainability, Corporate Responsibility, Strategy, Corporate Affairs, or related enterprise leadership roles. 
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide, cross-functional initiatives within a complex global organization. 
  • Experience within technology, advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, industrial, or similarly regulated industries is preferred. 


Critical Leadership Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate experience:

  • Developing and executing enterprise ESG and Corporate Social Responsibility strategies. 
  • Influencing executive leaders and driving alignment across diverse business functions.  
  • Leading governance programs and presenting to Executive Leadership Teams and Boards of Directors. 
  • Delivering ESG reporting, sustainability disclosures, and customer-facing ESG initiatives. 
  • Building strategic partnerships that strengthen organizational reputation and community impact. 
  • Leading complex enterprise programs requiring influence without direct authority. 
  • Balancing long-term strategic vision with disciplined operational execution.
