We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Remote Licensed Mental Health Therapist in various specialties such as Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Professional Counseling (LPC), or Clinical Social Work (LCSW) to join our supportive team at Positive Development Behavioral Counseling. In this fully remote role, you will work from the comfort of your own home and connect with clients through secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual platforms. Our therapists engage in a collaborative virtual setting, enabling effective communication and support regardless of geographical barriers. • Conduct engaging and therapeutic virtual therapy sessions for individuals and families, effectively utilizing digital tools to facilitate interaction.
• Establish a safe and confidential environment for clients, encouraging them to openly share their thoughts and feelings.
• Collaborate closely with clients to set realistic and meaningful objectives focused on their mental health and personal growth.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Regularly assess client progress and modify treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in mental health therapy and participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.

Our clients represent a diverse range of ages and backgrounds, requiring a counselor who can adapt their approach to meet the varying needs and circumstances of each individual. From children to adults, our client population faces an array of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role as a counselor will be pivotal in providing empathy, understanding, and therapeutic interventions that lead to improved mental health outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Must hold a fully recognized license to practice without supervision as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Oregon.
• Strong foundational skills in therapy and a track record of effective treatment plan design and implementation.
• Exceptional communication capabilities, both face-to-face and online, with a strong emphasis on building trusting therapeutic relationships.
• Proficiency with technology and an aptitude for utilizing online therapy platforms and tools.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing individual and family therapy in a clinical setting.
• Experience working in a remote or telehealth environment is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with integrated care settings and collaborative approaches to patient treatment.

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
