Job description

Objective/Scope
Manages complex technical projects from planning through delivery. Liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated. Utilizes appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines. Communicates schedule and changes to all stakeholders. Plans and facilitates project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to track project tasks. Prepares agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries. Monitors task completion status to identify at-risk project tasks and to develop mitigation plans. Identifies and removes impediments to progress. Key deliverables also include facilitation of agile ceremonies, accurate project dashboards, and timely closure of project Phase Gate Reviews. Possesses knowledge of the technology.
Job Functions
  • Perform budgeting and resource planning for new product delivery to meet company objectives.
  • Analyze project performance to budget, time, quality, etc and negotiate more resources to cover a shortfall.
  • Complete reports for project metrics and performance and use the data to drive improvement.
  • Understand the product development process and apply it to Agile Project Management for engineering changes and new products or technology.
  • Sprint plan with the team to maintain or improve project burndown, create a monthly schedule.
  • Determine direction for technical tradeoffs and only elevate tradeoffs that conflict with requirements to managers.

Education and Experience
Bachelors degree required.
Scrum certification

  • Base Salary Range: $106,000 - $110,000 per year
