Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families using secure video conferencing platforms.
  • Assess clients' unique mental health needs thoroughly to devise individualized treatment plans that address their specific challenges.
  • Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other modalities, to facilitate clients' progress.
  • Provide empathetic guidance, empowering clients with practical coping strategies to navigate mental health challenges and crises.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate electronic records of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training to remain updated on the latest research methodologies and therapeutic techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Remote Mental Health Therapist, you will serve a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults, from various backgrounds. Our clients often present with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Your expertise will play a key role in creating tailored treatment approaches that resonate with their lived experiences.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A valid license to practice as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
  • At least three (3) years of professional experience in a mental health setting, working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Familiarity with remote therapeutic services and knowledge of developmental issues, co-occurring disorders, and crisis intervention techniques.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing culturally competent care to a broad spectrum of clientele.
  • Additional professional certifications or licenses, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), or Military and Trauma Certification, are preferred but not a requirement.
