Description
The Remote Radiologist is responsible for interpreting diagnostic imaging studies from a remote setting using advanced teleradiology technology. This role supports nationwide imaging needs with timely and accurate reporting, contributing directly to high-quality patient care without the need for onsite presence. It enables flexibility while maintaining diagnostic excellence and clinical collaboration through virtual platforms.
Job Duties:
โ€ข Interpret a high volume of diagnostic studies remotely, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other modalities.
โ€ข Deliver prompt, accurate, and well-documented reports to referring clinicians across multiple locations.
โ€ข Communicate critical and time-sensitive findings directly with providers via phone or secure messaging systems.
โ€ข Collaborate with technologists and support staff virtually to ensure protocol adherence and image quality.
โ€ข Use advanced PACS, RIS, and cloud-based teleradiology systems to manage and review cases.
โ€ข Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and virtual team meetings.
โ€ข Maintain up-to-date licensure and compliance documentation for multiple states, as required.
โ€ข Adhere to all HIPAA and data security standards while working in a remote environment.
โ€ข Contribute to a consistent workflow with no weekend or evening shifts required.

Education and Experience:
โ€ข MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
โ€ข Completion of an accredited Radiology Residency program.
โ€ข Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or equivalent).
โ€ข Active and unrestricted medical licenses in applicable practice states (multi-state licensure preferred).
โ€ข Prior teleradiology or remote work experience preferred, but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

โ€ข Exceptional time management and organizational skills in a virtual work environment.
