• Conduct regular remote counseling sessions with clients via secure telehealth channels, ensuring their emotional safety and confidentiality.
• Thoroughly assess clients’ mental health needs, using established protocols to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, addressing a wide range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, trauma, and substance use disorders.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions and treatment progress, adhering to state and federal regulations as well as ethical standards.
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Stay informed about advancements in the field of mental health, integrating best practices and new research findings into counseling methodologies.
• Engage in regular professional development activities, including team meetings and supervision sessions, to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge base.
• Exhibit empathy, active listening, and a culturally competent approach in all client interactions to foster trust and rapport.

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds, age groups, and life experiences. Your clients may present with an array of mental health concerns, from chronic anxiety and depression to situational stressors and life transitions. Your expertise and compassionate approach to counseling will directly impact these individuals’ journeys towards healing and self-improvement.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.
• A Master's degree in counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in telehealth counseling practices is desirable but not strictly required.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, facilitating the ability to establish meaningful connections with clients.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, important for effectively conveying ideas and treatment recommendations.
• A thorough understanding of the ethical and legal standards governing counseling practices.
• A reliable high-speed internet connection and access to a secure, private area for conducting remote sessions are essential.
• Commitment to complying with all relevant state and federal telehealth regulations and guidelines.

• Previous experience in telehealth counseling and familiarity with telehealth technologies is an added advantage.
• Experience working with diverse populations and different therapeutic modalities will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
• Participation in community mental health initiatives or programs that emphasize holistic client care is highly regarded.
