Job description

Position: Tax Senior - 100% Remote within the US and would love Big 4 background if possible
Salary: $70-95k depending on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Monday to Friday and REMOTE, Work from home
Location: Tempe, Arizona - close to the airport
As a Tax Senior your will assist managers on client engagements and provide a wide array of services for our clients. You will develop and implement tax-efficient structures, and prepare complex tax returns for corporations, partnerships, LLCs, S-Corporations, and individuals. Participate in manager-led or partner-led tax reduction planning calls with clients. Research and manage complex matters and respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in accounting required
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or EA license or working towards obtainment of licensure.
  • 2-6 years recent public tax experience: tax experience including tax planning, compliance, and preparation
  • Thorough knowledge of the tax impact to individuals and their business and investments
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines is a must
  • Strong organizational, time management and follow through skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Integrity, dependability, and trustworthiness
  • Ability to handle a high volume work load

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters of Tax degree preferred
  • Big 4 firm experience preferred
  • Computer proficiency with software programs such as RIA Checkpoint, UltraxTax, Workpapers, Practice Management, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
